Aston Villa continue to monitor Lucas Dignes heel injury
Aston Villa continue to sweat on the injury of Lucas Digne with Steven Gerrard admitting that he cannot put a timeframe on his return.
The Frenchman is set to miss the next few weeks with a heel injury and on-loan Sweden international Ludwig Augustinsson will step in for Villa at Leeds United on Sunday.

Digne missed the last international break with France and Gerrard says: “We will have to assess it every so often to see whether there’s any healing.
“It’s very difficult to put a timeframe on his return because it’s a very unusual injury — it’s a stress response.
“It’s one we will have to keep revisiting to see whether the healing is quick or slow.
“We’re hoping that we can get him back as soon as possible.”
Matty Cash will also miss the game at Elland Road but returns back to full training on Monday.
Boubacar Kamara is out for the next few months with a knee injury.
Cameron Archer returns to the squad following a minor injury.
